Born & raised in East Harlem aka Spanish Harlem.

Met B-Fine aka Brian George of Full Force, when she was 14, outside a club called The Funhouse in New York. She was asked to be in UTFO's "Roxanne,Roxanne" music video and a few weeks later, received a call from Full Force requesting an audition for the part of Roxanne. The audition was not for the video but to record and perform as their Roxanne. She got the part and was given the title The Real Roxanne. Due to a conflict of interest she left Select Records and was FORCED in to early retirement.

Elease incorporated her personal style to embody what she felt her character of The Real Roxanne should look like. Her look included a name belt and a black tam hat. Alternating between a mini skirt and tight jeans coupled with sweaters or a fur vest.
