Members: Caca, J. J. Jack, Jake (54), Ki-Chi

A Tokyo-based punk band with skinhead roots, The Alex were formed in 1985 by singer/bassist Jake, guitarist Kiichi (a.k.a. Q), and drummer J.J. Jack. They started off as a pop punk band inspired by Toy Dolls. Kiichi (Q) later forms Herbertz and J.J. Jack joins Shuffle (4). J.J. Jack left The Alex before playing their first gig at Super Loft in Tokyo in late 1985. By the time the band appeared on the "乱痴気 Aid オムニバス" compilation tape they already had Caca (a.k.a. Kakka or Negi) on drums, however, J.J. Jack played on the comp tape track due to Caca's injury at the time of recording.
