American singer who was stationed at Wharton Barrack in Heilbronn, Germany for a number of years as a supply sergeant during the 1960s and 1970s.During his high school years in Washington DC he sang in bands. He later sang in some clubs in Vietnam. His entry into recording came about as a result of an invite by a friend of his, Beauty Milton who was performing with Kurt Edelhahen's Orcestra. After performing the orchestra director asked him to sign a contract with the Vogue label. He cut two records for Vogue. They were "I Can Feel It" which was composed by Eric Allendale, and "Wann Wird Die Menschheit Klug? (Sufferin' In The Land), a Jimmy Cliff composition.". They did fairly well with "I Can Feel It" being the better seller.
In 1970 he left the service for 18 months to pursue his singing career and tour with the German cast of the musical Hair, playing the role of Hud. By 1972 he was back in the army and still looking at prospects.
