Eva Völler
Eva Völler (* 1956 in Velbert) is a German author. In addition to her real name, she also publishes under the pseudonyms Charlotte Thomas, Francesca Santini, Anne Sievers, Paula Renzi, Sibylle Keller, Elena Santiago and Ina Hansen.
Völler graduated from high school in 1975, after which she studied philosophy and law in Frankfurt am Main until 1982. After her legal clerkship, she passed her second state examination in law in 1986. She then worked as a judge until 1992, most recently at Darmstadt Regional Court. She then worked as an independent lawyer until 2005, since when she has been a freelance writer and lives with her children on the edge of the Rhön in Hesse.
Völler has written numerous novels, some under pseudonyms, others under her real name. The author publishes books in various genres, such as light-hearted travel literature and relationship comedies, crime novels, thrillers and historical novels. She has also written books for television films. The author's novels have reached a total print run of 1 million and have been translated into several languages.
In 1995, the author won the Lübbe Publishing Group's Women's Story Prize for her novel Wenn der "Postmann nicht mehr klingelt". Her novel "Vollweib sucht Halbtagsmann" was filmed for ARD with Christine Neubauer in the leading role under the title of the same name.
