Real name: David Kiala Nzavotunga

Congolese guitarist, singer and composer.
Born in 1953 to Angolese parents in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He began playing guitar in the city's clubs, eventually joining Orchestre Nègro Succès and later Grand Kalle And African Jazz. He moved to Nigeria in 1974, were he played in various groups, including The Stormmers, before joining Fela Kuti's Egypt 80 in 1981. After 2 years with Egypt 80, Kiala formed a new afrobeat group - Ghetto Blaster.
