Angolan group founded in 1963, in Luanda, Marçal, Kapolo Boxi by Domingos António Miguel da Silva (Kituxe), Aristófanes da Rosa Coelho (Adolfo Coelho), Tininho and Anselmo de Sousa Arcanjo (Marito). In 1969, the band had the opportunity to perform their first major show in one of the most important venues of the time, Ngola Cine. In 1970, Os Kiezos recorded their first single at the Rádio Nacional de Angola, then known as Voz de Angola. At that time Juventino Anselmo de Sousa Arcanjo (Juventino), Jorge Pasteur José da Costa (Vate Costa) and Fausto Lemos joined the band.
