A Swedish powerpop/mod quartet. Evolved in 1993 from Garage-rock band the Rawhides. Released "French Poetry EP" on Silver records in 1997. The record received great reviews in the Swedish indie press but the band has been in hibernation since 1998. In 2016, legendary UK label Detour Records released French Poetry as a vinyl 45. Detour Records' sublabel Paisley Archive released a Fanscene compilation in march 2017. French Poetry also appeared on the 2018 compilation Glory Boy Mod Radio Showcase, vol. 3.
