Real name: Ελισάβετ Βακαλίδου (Elisavet Vakalidou)

Betty Vakalidou is a Greek author and actress. Born in 1950 in Feres, Thrace.
In 1979, the autobiographical short film "Betty", directed by Dimitris Stavrakas, made her famous and she is one of the first, best-known transgender people in Greece, who publicly displayed her identity and fought for the rights of homosexuals and transgender people. She participated in the establishment of the first Greek homosexual movement.
