Lord Cobra
Real name: Wilfred Methusiel Berry Gonin
Lord Cobra, born in Patois Town, Bocas del Toro, Panama, on October 17, 1926 and died on April 28, 2000 in Cativá, Colón. He was one of the most important calypsonians, not only in Panama but throughout the Caribbean, standing out as a troubadour and as a composer. Among dozens of pieces he composed, we can mention "Banana", "The Man with the Big Suitcase" and the famous "Baptism".
