Ted Bogan
Blues guitarist, bassist and singer, born May 10, 1910 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
He moved to Chicago in 1933, recording two 78s as a duo with Louie Bluie (real name Howard Armstrong) in 1934. He also worked with Carl Martin, much later teaming up with both Armstrong and Martin as Martin, Bogan & Armstrong, making records for Rounder and Flying Fish in the 1970s.
