Austin, Texas country blues singer/songwriter and guitarist.Neely was born in Collin County, Texas, on September 19, 1916. He moved to Austin in 1949, where he became a regular performer at Threadgill’s and other venues. He released his only album in 1974. He died on March 22, 1990.
