Belgian Royal Boy's and Men's choir was founded in September 1959 by the late Reverend Canon Michaël Ghijs. The choir consists of pupils and former pupils of the Saint Martin's Institute in Aalst. (Sint-Maarteninstituut in Aalst).Since its founding in 1959, this choir has made itself an international reputation. It has been very successful both nationally and internationally having done many concert tours throughout Europe and the rest of the world as well.
