Real name: Numidia Vaillant Villalón

Cuban composer and pianist (Santiago de Cuba, 24 October, 1927 - Paris, 1 October, 2015).
Granddaughter of Maximino Villalón, owner of the Conservatorio Espadero in Santiago de Cuba, who taught to the famous Miguel Matamoros. She studied piano with Joaquín Nin and became known in the radio station CMKC in 1946. She moved to Paris in 1958, playing in the best jazz clubs of Saint-Germain: Blue Note, Be-Bop among others. He has also performed all over the world in Latin America, Israel, Japan, Norway...
Her compositions include: “Juanita la chismosa”, “A través del mar”, “Será traición”, “No sé porqué no me quieres”
