Javier Garayalde
Real name: Francisco Javier Garayalde
Spanish saxophone and clarinet player from Pamplona (Navarra) born n 1947.Founded the "Cuarteto Navarro de Saxofones", and in 1979 Big Band Pamplona, the first big band of the city.
Teacher at "Conservatorio Superior Pablo Sarasate" of Navarra since mid 1970s.
With Pedro Iturralde and later bass player Javier Colina are the three more prominent figures of jazz in Navarra
