Swedish radio program host, born Jan Larsson Palmgren on June 29, 1943 in Karlstad. Known especially with the program series "Hemma" at the 1970's together with Kjell Alinge. During the 1980's he became known for the radio series "I lugn och ro", where he read short stories that were interspersed with appropriate, often ambient, music.
Forssell has also played in minor roles as actors in some Swedish films. During the 1990's he made a number of notable travel reports in Sweden's Television under the name "Jorden runt – Reel World" in English, together with the filmmaker Lasse Westman.
