Born February 19, 1944, in Easton, Pennsylvania, Zoss is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter and award-winning prose author. He initially gained attention after Bonnie Raitt began recording his songs in the early 1970s. He has continued to perform and record with many artists including B.B. King, Etta James, James Taylor, David Bromberg, John Joseph Hall and Orleans, John Hartford, Paul Butterfield, David Sanborn, Vassar Clements, Lowell George and Little Feat, Taj Mahal, Todd Rundgren, Kate Taylor, Howlin' Wolf, and others.
