Born circa 1943 in Liverpool, England, Moore's family moved to Canada when she was 13, and then back to England when she was 16. After Moore graduated from London College of Music, she lived 18 months in Spain. She also lived two years in Italy and six months in the Netherlands, and toured in Europe, Africa, and Australia. While in Italy, she made several recordings in Italian for an Italian record company. In 1968, she married American Edward Chun, and relocated to Hawaii.
