Real name: Per Anders Ragnar Boqvist

Swedish producer, lyricist and lyrics translator, born on December 10, 1931 in Stockholm, died on April 14, 2014 in Gryts församling.

Per-Anders Boquist's first job in the music industry was at Simon Brehm's record label Karusell. Later he became manager of the newly started record company Scan-Disc with artists such as Gunnar Wiklund and Ulla Sallert. He then produced the album Med Evert Taube at Gröna Lund.

In 1966, Per-Anders Boquist started his own record company Amigo together with his brother Jan Boquist. It became a music company specializing in jazz, songs and folk music. As a result, Amigo and Per-Anders were awarded the IFPI Grammy honorary award in 1999. In 2001, Amigo was sold to Bonnier's newly started Bonnier Amigo Music Group.
