Japanese idol from the eighties, born December 28, 1966 in Obamashi, Fukui.

Debuted in 1985 as Member #16 of the Idol girl band Onyanko Club, and its first sub-group, duo Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi with her co-worker Yukiko Iwai.

Mamiko graduated from Onyanko Club in 1987 and pursued a solo career, releasing four albums. In 1988, Mamiko married Onyanko Club lyricist and future AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto and subsequently retired from the entertainment industry.
