Skatt Bros.

Effective period / Period of releases: 1979 - 1981

Members: Sean Delaney, Craig Krampf, Richie Fontana, David Andez, Pieter Sweval, Richard Martin-Ross

Los Angeles based band put together by Sean Delaney, who had been working with KISS for several years before approaching Richie Fontana with his idea. Signed to Casablanca Records in 1979, their biggest hit was their debut single "Walk The Night" which peaked at #9 on the disco/dance chart in the spring of 1980. The original lineup was: Sean Delaney - Keyboards, Pieter Sweval - Bass, Richard Martin-Ross - Vocals, David Andez - Guitar (and Lead Vocals on "Walk The Night"), and Richie Fontana - Drums. Andez left the band after the first album and was replaced by Danny Brant. A second LP, the ambitious "Rico & The Ravens" was recorded, but only saw release in Australia & New Zealand and the band broke up soon after. "Walk The Night" was used in Grand Theft Auto 4 after Rockstar Games and introduced the tune into popular culture.
