Jagat Skad is a Berlin (Germany) based band founded in 2001. They are known for frequent line-up and stylistic changes.
The band started out as a noise-project by Sebastian Jantz and Robert Ludewig, but changed styles quickly as new members joined and others left. The current line-up consists of Sebastian Jantz, Andreas Weber (3) & Jens Karsunke (both joined in 2005), Merlin Schumacher (2007), Marcel Schnelle (2008) and Frederik Foff (2009).
So far they have released 10 albums and numerous EPs as downloads on their website but have recently started giving away free physical copies of their latest two EPs Last Night When We Were Young and Everybody Knows We're Thieves and a compilation Demo 2009. Their latest release Bloomsday was released digitally in March 2010, with physical copies following in summer.
In 2011 they changed their name to Foxbird
