Stephen Johnson (born July 12, 1952, Paola, Kansas, USA – died January 26, 2015, Fort Scott, Kansas, USA) was an American music video director, television director, animator, painter, and writer. Perhaps two of the most notable music videos that he directed were Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" and ' "Road To Nowhere".
