American alternative rock band. Swig began in Columbia, SC in 1993.
The original members were Cole Charles (guitar/vox), Vic Litzau (bass), Tim Carter (drums) and Josh Brooks (guitar). The band dissolved in 1996.
They regrouped for one show in 1999. In 2003 the band regrouped in Charleston, SC with Syd Mute on drums and Dave Marvel on bass. The band fizzled out again until February of 2010. Syd, Cole and Josh were joined by Bryce Hoch on bass.
