Biography
Hermann Ophoven
German composer and writer of chorale notations, born March 4th, 1914 in Düsseldorf; died in 2004. He studied organ and vocal music in Cologne and became organist, first in Ratingen, later in Düsseldorf Rath. In 1972, his cantata 'Für den Frieden in der Welt' had premiere at the Olympic Games in Munich.
