Real name: Nancy Reed Kanter
Singer/songwriter, and former big band vocalistReed attended Julliard as a piano major, and then joined several name bands including Hal McIntyre, Skitch Henderson and Benny Goodman. In the 1980s, 30 years after the big band era, she made a comeback and released on album on Atlantic.
She is the mother of singer/songwriter Hillary Kanter.
