Freedom's Child is progressive/psychedelic rock band from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, that was formed in 1966. The band split up in 1971. The band's name was used in 1990 for an album called A New Day, a collaboration between Colin Pratley and Kenny Henson. In 1996, Ramsay MacKay, Brian Davidson (2) and Kenny Henson worked on a new album called Mummies (Back From The Dead), but this remains unreleased to this date.
