Real name: Hamilton Frederick Bohannon

American disco producer, songwriter, arranger, and bandleader.
Born 7 March 1942, in Newnan, Georgia, USA; died 24 April 2020.
Moved to Detroit in the early 1960s and worked as sideman for Stevie Wonder between 1965 and 1967 and became arranger for all of Motown’s top acts. When Motown relocated to Los Angeles in the early 1970s he remained in Detroit, formed his own band and released 21 albums between 1973 and 1990. His best known song is “Let’s Start The Dance” (1978).
