Cristina Casanova

Real name: Cristina Casanova Seuma

Cristina Casanova (Lleida, Spain) is a designer, photographer, writer, musician and computer artist. She studied Fine Arts in Barcelona, specializing in photography, cinema and video.
As a photographer, her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions and won second prize at the Concurso Nacional de Fotografía (1990). As a writer she has also won several prizes in Spain.
Sound artist, creator of the soundtracks "Throw your watch to the water (variations on a intuited filmography fron josé Val del Omar)" and "eGolem", both films directed by Eugeni Bonet and currently exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art MACBA http://www.macba.cat/en/exhibition-eugeni-bonet.
Casanova has played also synthesizer in the experiment music groups FMOL Trio and A Cunt On FMOL as well as collaborating with a variety of Spanish musicians.
Co-founder and Director of DOCUMENTA SL company and KTON Y CIA Cultural Association.
