Daddy's Act

Effective period / Period of releases: 1967

Members: Bart Terlaak, Pierre Van Der Linden, Ron Westerbeek, Jan Pieter Boekhoorn, John van Doren, Leon Kleerekoper, Jan Jonkman

Dutch popquintet from The Hague featuring singer Leon Kleerekoper (who was a member of Jumping pop-In, and was also known solo as John van Doren and after that as David Alexandre Winter). He only sang on their first and third single, both their slow version Beatles-covers! Othe members were Jan Jonkman on bass and vocals (ex-Incrowd from The Hague), Leendert Bouwman on bass and vocals (ex-Valiants and then Incrowd from The Hague), Ron Westerbeek on keyboards and vocals (ex-Frankie Franken Selection and to Sandy Coast) plus Bart Terlaak om drums (ex-JayJays). On their last single (1969) Jan and Leendert were probably joined by Nico Noorduyn on vocals, Jan-Pieter Boekhoorn on keyboards (ex-James Mean, Tee-Set and Johnny Kendall, to Sympathy) and Marc Holland on drums (to Driftin' Five)
