"Tidal Flood were founded 1996 in Attica/Greece by George Karras (bass, synths), George Stavroulakis (guitars, synths) and Helium Polites (drums). The band's sound is very close to Ed Wynne's Ozric Tentacles, however provided with a more fusionesque touch. After some years of experimentation and devotion to their music they had the first live appearance at the end of 1999.The next year saw a first demo release '7Tide' containg three songs recorded with the help of Vassilis 'Bill' Antonakos (synths). Highly acclaimed the first official album 'Scientific' came out in 2001 also comprising two live videos. Unfortunately this was Tidal Flood's last sign of life so far." Info taken from here.
