Angel Ramón Berdiales

Real name: Ángel Ramón Berdiales

Ángel Ramón Berdiales was born on 1971 in La Caridad, a little town in the occident of Asturias. His first group was Svastika, a cover band of heavy metal hits, where he sings and usually played bass and guitar labours. His next band was Steell, a band that was dissolved after a few shows. At the beginning of the nineties, Berdiales joined Redada, a Heavy Metal band from Puerto de Vega (Navia, Asturias) which a small name in the local scene, even with some TV appearances. Redada was miserably disbanded circa 1995 when they were recording their first LP, and after that Berdiales pursued a solo career creating his own recording studio: ARBG Studio, La Caridad.

Under the name A.R. Berdiales, he recorded three demos where he played all the instruments: "Utopia Industrial" (1996), "Suspendido Entre Recuerdos" (1997) and "Miscelánea" (1998). He got good reviews in heavy metal and guitarists magazines. He also formed the agro heavy-rock band Hermaos del Herba Seca, which produced two sold out demos on the local scene. Berdiales has also two songs in the Distritu Norte Compilation Vol. 1 by the Colectivo Matarratas.

But Berdiales has also a career as engineer, recording other metal bands from Asturias like Exkalibur (Esp), Alma Mater, Nightjar or the 2003 demo of the Doom Metal band from A Coruña Dark Embrace (Esp), as well as other groups like Senogul and Melange. Berdiales´ studio is the only one in the zone of the occident of Asturias, besides The Trashumantes Studios of Marco (ex-Asfixia).
