Gene Williams

Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and record company executive based in Montréal, Québec. Born July 24, 1948 in Nova Scotia, son of Halifax country singer Slim Williams. Made his first recordings in 1963 with his band Gene and the G-Notes, releasing the album "Play Songs of The Beatles" at the same time as the Beatles craze began to hit North America.

Owner of record company/studio Startrack Inc. and production company Startrack Productions. Produced artists under the company Les Productions B & W. In the 1990s left the music industry altogether and became a farmer.
