Joe Pesci

Real name: Joseph Frank Pesci

Italian-American actor, born on 9 February 1943, in Newark, New Jersey.

Pesci started his career in show business as a musician, singing with The Du Barrys and playing guitar in several bands such as Joey Dee & The Starliters. In 1968 he released a record as a singer under the moniker "Little Joe". In 1969 he joined lounge band Frank Vincent and the Artistocats which disbanded not soon after. The pair then turned to stand-up company, performing as Vincent & Pesci. Both would eventually end up in acting.

Pesci best known for his roles in "My Cousin Vinny", "Casino", "JFK", that of a bumbling burglar in the "Home Alone" movies, motor-mouth con-man Leo Getz in the "Lethal Weapon" movies and his Academy Award winning performance in "Goodfellas".
