Formerly Paul Vernon and The Riots, hailed from Bath in Somerset. Changed their name to The Hot Springs (after the hot spring water in the Roman Baths) for release of their first single. Two former members of Bristol group The Eagles, Rod Meacham (Drums) and Michael Brice (Bass Guitar) were members of the group at the time the record was recorded.
