Muneomi Senju

Real name: 千住 宗臣

Japanese drummer. He was playing with Boredoms since 2005, and also touring with the band in Europe and USA. Muneomi also participated in famous 77 Drums concert in Brooklyn Park, NYC, which ended Boredoms world tour on July 7, 2007. After leaving Boredoms, Senju performed with many Japanese and foreign artists, including Merzbow, Bill Laswell, Arto Lindsay, Otomo Yoshihide, EP-4, Keigo Oyamada (aka Cornelius), Yukihiro Takahashi and Haruomi Hosono from Yellow Magic Orchestra, Damo Suzuki, Jim O'Rourke, Hair Stylistics. He also works as a solo artist, creating soundtracks, remixes and compositions for theater (companies like Rimini Protokoll), fashion shows (Issey Miyake), and TV commercials (Suntory, Toyota).
