American blues, soul and cabaret singer, born in East Baltimore, Maryland; died 12 March 2018 in Sydney, Australia. A 1976 production of the The Wizard of Oz brought her to Australia and she settled in Sydney in the late 1980s. She was the face of the Campbell’s Cash and Carry television advertisements for seven years in the 1990s.
