American vaudeville artist (b. Louisiana, Mo. 26 March 1886 - d. Washington, D.C. 4 Dec. 1927)

Made first stage appearance in 1905. Came to London in 1913 and appeared in the revue "Keep Smiling". Other similar revue appearances followed in the next few years. Briefly back in U.S. in 1918, and then returned to London four revue "Back Again" in 1919. Early in 1920 went to Australia, and subsequently seems to have toured between Australia and UK with at least one trip to Egypt and several to the Far East during the 1920s. Finally returned to U.S. c.1927.
