Ken Jones

Real name: Kenneth Evan Jones

Effective period / Period of releases: 1956 - 1960

British conductor, arranger, composer, producer and pianist, born in Manchester (1927), died on holiday in Switzerland or France (1988). Worked as a studio arranger for Norrie Paramor during the 60's, arranging for the likes of The Zombies and Jonathan King. Band leader in Michael Parkinson's BBC talk show. In 1979, he conducted the UK entry in the Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem, 'Mary-Ann' by Black Lace. Also composed for film and TV.
