CKY Trio was a short-lived American collaborative project, active in the mid-to-late 1990s and formed by Andrew Choate (tenor saxophone), Peter Kolovos (guitar, electronics) and C. Spencer Yeh (tabletop bass, piano). In 1999, the trio released Live 1997 3xCD-R set on Yeh's DroneDisco label, which documented complete "practice tapes" recorded by the band in January-March 1997 in Evanston, Illinois. The artists performed in various other formations around the era, such as KY Duo (Kolovos and Yeh minus Choate) and Saxophone Limb.
