Funk-Disco band founded in June 1977 by Marvin Young (born in Florida). Rising Sound's other members include Tanya Casey (Bermuda, daughter of singer Bill Casey and granddaughter of the bandleader Al Davis), Sheila (Pennsylvania) and Larry (North Carolina).The band recorded their first songs for an LP in October 1977 at Walldorf Studio, Germany.
