Marçal Cervera (1928-2019), also known as Marcial Cervera, was a cello and viola da gamba performer.
Born in Santiago de Cuba on a family of musicians; his family would soon returned back to Barcelona, where his father took a Chair at the Conservatorio del Liceo.
His first tutor was his uncle, Lluis Millet I Farga, an old student of Gaspar Cassadó, Marçal’s next teacher; he also studied in France with Paul Tortelier.
