Latvian Estrada singer. He has cooperated for a long time with Raimonds Pauls performing many of his songs. In 70's he achieved triumphal success with legendary duet Nora Bumbiere Un Viktors Lapčenoks, lasting for years through countless melodies, records, and concerts. And even now in the singer's golden repertoire still are the Pauls's songs written specially for him and Nora Bumbiere.
