Dennis Knight

Dennis Knight is a rock 'n' roll singer from Brisbane, Australia. He started his career in the mid 60s. His first single ''Every Breath I Take'' with backing by the Bee Gees charted locally. He commenced working all major clubs throughout Queensland and won the Queensland Entertainer of the Year award, five times in succession. In 1973, Johnny O’Keefe became Dennis’s manager, and this boosted his career to the corporate market of the entertainment scene and in 1988 he performed in front of 15,000 people at EXPO 88. Dennis has shared the stage with some of the greats in the industry and is still working. In 1993 was voted Variety Performer of The Year, for the Variety Club of Australia in which he plays an active part. He frequently includes Elvis Presley songs in his set and ahs performed as Johnny O'Keefe on stage.
