Danish jazz pianist. (July 11, 1933, Copenhagen - February 2, 1993). One of Danish jazz's bebop pioneers in his early days he played a.o. with Max Brüel in1955, with Ib Glindemann and Monica Zetterlund. In the 1960's he often accompanied jazz legends as Johnny Griffin, Dexter Gordon and Don Byas at Jazzhus Montmartre. He also composed the score for the 1967 short film "Interval". Due to illness he didn't record much in his later years but recordings made for Danmarks Radio 1979 to 1983 was finally released in 1988.
