Swiss pop band from Zürich, active from 1996 to 1998. It started, when Barbara, Stephan, Ralph, Reto and Ludwig, who met in school in St. Gallen founded their band "Daddy's Cosset", a precursor for "Superkind*" in the early 1990's. The band was renamed to "Kussecht" around 1994, as a phonetic variation of "Cosset". Leaving to Zürich for further education, Ludwig, the guitarist left the band and Felix replaced him. In 1996, the band was signed to BMG and the band name was changed to "Superkind*", the asterisk in the name should represent the 5 members of the band, as stated by the record company. All band members were given aliases for better stardom. In 1997, their debut album was recorded. The band was travelling through Germany and also to the United States during the album recording. After the album release in April 1998, the band seems to have been dropped by the record company. No more activities by the band could be noticed anymore.
