Mário Gil was a Luso-Brazilian folk singer-songwriter, he was born on the 24th of May 1941 in São Paulo, Brazil and passed away on the 7th of December 2017 in Lisboa, Portugal. He released more than 20 records throughout his career, he gained notoriety for his performance of the song "Caminhos de Portugal". Mário also participated in some soap operas as actor in shows such as "A Lenda da Garça" (2009) and "Ganância" (2001).
