Real name: Суриков Иван Захарович = Surikov Ivan Zakharovich

Ivan Surikov (March 25, 1841 - April 24, 1880) - Russian self-taught poet, representative of the "peasant" trend in Russian literature, author of the textbook poem "Childhood". His other poem, “In the Steppe”, in folk processing, became the most popular song “Steppe and Steppe Around”. In his poems Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky wrote a romance "I was in the field, but there was no grass."
