Not to be confused with his father Francisco Flores Ruiz who wrote the lyrics of the "Himno de Carabineros de Chile" the Anthem of the Police of Chile.

Francisco Flores del Campo He was a Chilean composer, instrumentalist and actor, considered one of the most important composers of Chilean popular music of the 20th century.
He won the folklore competition at the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar in 1964 with the tune "Qué bonita va", performed by the group Los Huasos Quincheros
