Albert Runbäck

Real name: Albert Julius Runbäck

Swedish church musician and composer, born 30 August 1894 in Gårdby parish, Kalmar county, died 4 April 1974 in Båstad parish, Kristianstad county.

He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music 1912–1914. He was organist and cantor in Båstad and Hov 1917–1959. He was elected as No. 211 associate in the Royal Academy of Music on November 14, 1957 and became a member 761 on July 1, 1971. In 1959 he was awarded the medal Illis quorum.
