Stonehenge
Formed in New Zealand 1983, Stonehenge were renowned for their outstanding live shows - spectacular sets, an electric front-man, original material and tons of metal guitars and heavy drum solo's. During the mid-80's Stonehenge toured extensively through New Zealand and Australia. In Australia Stonehenge shared the stage with bands such as Escape, Assassin, Apocalypse, Mortal Sin, and Roxx.
Their sole release is the 3 Track 12" EP "Wings Of Steel" released in 1986. The title track appeared on the NZ version of "Masters Of Metal" compilation released the same year on Vinyl and Cassette. The remaining tracks "Burnin' Fever and Easy Livin'' would later appear on the Jayrem Records compilation "No Peace For The Wicked/3 Points Of Metal" released 2011 exclusively in New Zealand on CD.
